BGK-4800 and GK-4800 VW Earth Pressure Cell are used for measuring total pressure of embedment points and fills in dams. The earth pressure change will meaning time act the loading plate and cause the fluid pressure change in the pressure cell which is measured by the VW pressure cells. They are useable in various harsh environments with very excellent performances and special steel components.
BGK-4810 and GK-4810 Earth Pressure Cell are used for measuring contact pressure of retaining walls. the pressure cell has a very thick backboard so as to reduce any point loading impact.
GK-4820 Jackout Pressure Cell is designed to fit inside a plate for measuring earth pressure of retaining walls. The plate is pressed against a side of the retaining wall excavation with a hydraulic jack. This installation guarantees good contact between monitoring side of the pressure cell and measuring earth.
GK-4850 Concrete Stress Cell is designed for measuring tangential (4850-1) and radial (4850-2) stresses in shotcrete tunnel linings. The cell consists of two rectangular steel plates welded together around periphery with a de-aired fluid occupying the space between the plates. The cell connects with a short tube for pressuring again. This cell is measurable in mass concrete.
